Urban Revitalization…. The Aspirant Way
Located at the northwest corner of W. McKinley Street and N. Central Avenue in downtown Phoenix, the Stewart is a 312-unit, 19-story luxury high rise apartment community currently under construction at the site of the old Stewart Motor Company (Studebaker). In the heart of Phoenix’s historical Roosevelt Row Arts District, the project is immediately adjacent to the light rail line, 3 blocks north of ASU’s new downtown campus, 5 blocks north of downtown and 3 blocks south of the I-10 freeway and Hance Park. The project includes first floor restaurants/retail, 7 levels of parking, state of the art fitness center and rooftop pool overlooking the Phoenix skyline.
Located at the northeast corner of E. Buchanan Street and S. 1st Street immediately adjacent to the Union Pacific rail line, 1st Buchanan is a 2-story, 26,000 square foot adaptive reuse, warehouse-to-office conversion currently under renovation. Smack dab in the middle of Phoenix’s historical warehouse district, the project is 2 blocks south of Talking Stick Arena, 3 blocks west of Chase Field, and 4 blocks southeast of downtown. The project is currently fully leased to a local health care technology firm that plans to take occupancy in early 2018. Similar to warehouse districts in other major cities, Phoenix’s district has witnessed massive infusions of capital over the past several years, and with this, a dramatic revitalization – including several hi-tech businesses, professional services firms, niche restaurants and other forms of urban entertainment calling the warehouse district home.
Located at the southeast corner of the Loop 202 and E. Van Buren Street, 202 Self-Storage is a 4-building, 3-story, 120,000+ square foot mini-storage facility currently under construction. The project sits on 2.37 gross acres of highly-visible land in an area that is expected to see massive residential growth over the next decade. The Loop 202 sits immediately to the west of the project and receives over 150,000 vehicles driving by the site on a daily basis. The project is conveniently located halfway between downtown Phoenix and downtown Tempe, and is immediately adjacent to Sky Harbor Airport and its nearby businesses. Upon completion, it will boast over 900 units, approximately 2/3’s of which will be climate controlled.
